Study Medicine in English in St. Kliment Ohridski.
The program aims at offering theoretical knowledge and practical skills through highly qualified teaching combined with the opportunity to exercise it in practice in the most modern preclinical and clinical medical complexes in Bulgaria.
The training course in Medicine is conducted on the basis of a curriculum which is made according to the Unified state requirements for the Master’s Degree in the specialty “Medical Doctor” and the qualification of a General Practitioner.
The curriculum also satisfies the regulations of the Directive 2005/36/EC of October, 20. 2007 and its amendment in Directive 2013/55/EC of November 20, 2013, on the recognition of the professional qualifications of medical doctors in Europe.
The study course duration is 6 years (12 semesters).

A combined written admission exam has to be passed, consisting of two components — a test in Chemistry, and a test in Biology. The examination is carried out in English.
The topics of Chemistry and Biology cover the material taught in secondary school. The duration of the admission exam is four astronomic hours. Only applicants who have passed both components of the exam are eligible for ranking.
The components contribute to the final grade as follows: 50 % Chemistry, 50 % Biology. The applicants can sit for the entrance exam — tests in chemistry and biology in the English language once or twice (optional) and they will be ranked on the basis of their results.
The ranking will be done in descending order of the grades from the admission exams. For applicants who have passed the exams on the two dates, the higher grade is considered for the ranking. The first 50 candidates from the ranking list will be admitted.
