Application procedure: for the study programs with courses taught in English, in order to be admitted, the candidates have to take an entrance exam consisting of multiple-choice questions from biology and chemistry. These applicants are evaluated by a committee appointed by each faculty by analyzing the documents included in the application files.
Plovdiv Medical University includes the faculties of Medicine, Dental medicine, Pharmacy, Public Health, a Department of Languages and Specialized training, a medical college, and a hospital with 2000 beds. Facilities include laboratories, clinics, and units for diagnostics and treatment, research activities, and training of medical and dental students. The Central University Library offers the students 170,000 volumes in many languages as well as an internet hall and a local net system. - The entrance exam consists of two tests – in Biology and in Chemistry plus English Language Diagnostic Test (only for non-native English speaker who do not have any of the required valid English proficiency certificates) and shall be carried out on-line (home-based) on the following dates:

- 31 August 2022 – Biology and Chemistry in English and in Bulgarian + English language diagnostic test – registration by 23 August 2022
- 08 September 2022 – Biology and Chemistry in English + English language diagnostic test – registration by 31 August 2022

The Entrance-exam registration system is open from 01 March till 31 August 2022. The registration for each exam date is open until 7 days prior to the date of the exam.
