Forestry University in Sofia is the oldest university that has Veterinary Medicine in English in Bulgaria. The entire education is in English. The tuition fee is 4500 Euro per academic year. The duration of the education is five years. Upon graduation, every student receives a certificate for a Master in Veterinary Medicine. There is an airport- Sofia Airport, which is the biggest in the country. It has flights from all over the world.
Trakia University Stara Zagora offers education in Veterinary Medicine and it is fully in English. The duration of the education is five years. Admission is possible after successfully passing the entrance exam. It is consisting of tests with questions from Biology and Chemistry. Also reading and comprehension in English. The certificate that all graduate students receive after successful graduation is Master in Veterinary Medicine. It is internationally recognised. The tuition fee is 5100 euros per academic year, it can be paid in 2 instalments at the beginning of each semester.
All candidates must pass an entrance exam. It is consisting of questions in Biology, Chemistry and very easy English reading and comprehension questions. The exam is with multiple choice questions and a couple of open questions. There is no requirement for TOEFL or IELDS.
Every candidate must have grades from Biology and Chemistry in his high school certificate.
For all Non-European citizens, it is obligatory to have more than 62% from both Biology and Chemistry.
