This service is designed for international students and families preparing a foreign secondary-school qualification for a Bulgarian university application. Can iGeneration Represent or Assist With Your NACID Application?

Yes, a NACID service may be requested through a representative when the applicable authorisation and identification requirements are met. iGeneration can assess the case, explain the required formalities, prepare the file and support filing and follow-up where permitted.

Representation does not transfer official authority to iGeneration. NACID’s expert commission assesses the evidence, and NACID’s Executive Director issues, refuses or terminates the recognition procedure.

What to Send for the Initial Document Assessment

Start with clear, complete scans of the documents you already have. In most cases, the useful starting records are:

• the final secondary-school diploma or equivalent qualification;
• the transcript, mark sheet, diploma appendix or other grade record;
• any document confirming access to higher education, if already available;
• the student’s country of education, intended Bulgarian university and programme;
• any existing Apostille, legalisation, verification code or official certification.

What Happens After You Send Your Documents?

Our assessment does not promise recognition or a particular administrative result. NACID remains responsible for the official procedure and decision.

Country-Specific Document Checking

NACID requirements depend on the country where the secondary education was completed, the qualification issued and the way the documents can be authenticated. A checklist used by another student may not apply to a diploma from India, the UK, USA, UAE, Oman, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Turkey, an EU/EEA country or another jurisdiction.

iGeneration checks the country, qualification, grade documents, verification route and any available evidence of university access before recommending the next preparation step.

Translation, Legalisation and Apostille Coordination

Some documents require an Apostille, others follow a legalisation, treaty-based or country-specific route, and certain records may be verifiable through official electronic registers. iGeneration identifies the route that appears relevant to the student’s documents before translation or certification work begins.

Application Preparation, Representation and Follow-Up

After the preparation route is confirmed, iGeneration can coordinate the required records, application information, translations and representation documents within the agreed service scope. Where representative filing is permitted and the necessary authorisation is in place, we can support submission and communication relating to the file.

If NACID requests another document or identifies a deficiency, iGeneration can review the request, explain what is missing, coordinate preparation of the response and check the additional evidence before submission. NACID retains authority over the final decision.

NACID is Bulgaria’s National Centre for Information and Documentation and is the competent authority for this recognition service. Recognition concerns secondary education completed at a foreign school for relevant purposes in Bulgaria, including continuing education at a higher education institution.
